Las quemaduras aumentan de forma significativa el desarrollo de c\u00e1ncer de piel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Evita broncearte al sol o en camas de bronceado: <\/strong>La luz UV de las camas de bronceado y del sol causan arrugas con mucha frecuencia pueden desarrollar c\u00e1ncer de piel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Usa protector solar adecuado:<\/strong>&nbsp;Aplica crema con filtro solar m\u00ednimo FPS 30 quince minutos antes de la exposici\u00f3n y reapl\u00edcala cada dos horas o tras nadar o sudar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>V\u00edstete con ropa ligera y protectora:<\/strong>&nbsp;Gorras, gafas de sol y prendas largas protegen piel y ojos lo mayor posible.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Alterna sol y sombra:&nbsp;<\/strong>Trata de no permanecer expuesto mucho tiempo, busca sombra y refr\u00e9scate con agua frecuentemente.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Hidr\u00e1tate constantemente:<\/strong>&nbsp;Bebe agua para evitar la deshidrataci\u00f3n, especialmente durante olas de calor y actividad f\u00edsica.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Protege a ni\u00f1os y adultos mayores:<\/strong>&nbsp;Limita la exposici\u00f3n en menores de 3 a\u00f1os y personas de piel sensible.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"que-son-los-rayos-uv\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00bfQu\u00e9 son los rayos UV?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La luz solar viaja hacia la Tierra como una mezcla de ondas visibles e invisibles, las ondas largas , como las ondas de radio, son m\u00e1s inofensivas para las personas, pero las m\u00e1s cortas, como la luz ultravioleta (UV) representan un poco m\u00e1s de riesgo. Los rayos m\u00e1s largos que llegan a la superficie de la Tierra se llaman UVA y los m\u00e1s cortos se llaman UVB. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Cuando usted est\u00e1 expuesto a la radiaci\u00f3n ultravioleta, hay un proceso de reparaci\u00f3n constante en cada una de sus c\u00e9lulas expuestas&#8221;, dice el Dr. Stephen I. Katz, director del Instituto Nacional de Artritis y Enfermedades Musculoesquel\u00e9ticas y de la Piel del NIH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cada a\u00f1o, m\u00e1s de 2 millones de personas son tratadas por dos tipos de c\u00e1ncer de piel: el carcinoma basocelular y el carcinoma epidermoide.
